Eat More Fat & Lose Weight Over The Holidays

Biologically we are designed to eat starchy carbohydrates during late spring and summer months when the sun is out more. Our bodies use Sunlight to charge our human batteries and create more energy efficiency. This efficiency leads to a better usage of our starchy carbohydrates, which is basically converted to Glucose for the body to make ATP. ATP is the currency of the body, its energy currency if you will. Animals eats more starchy plants in the Autumn to get fatter and build an energy reserve for the winter months when food is more scarce. For us, we need to decrease, if not eliminate all starchy foods in the Autumn & Winter. Good fats are cleaner fuel than sugars. If you want to eat more and lose weight in the Holiday season, here’s how.


  • All processed and refined foods.
  • Eliminate Sugar, refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup etc…
  • Diet Drinks are worse than sugary drinks. Eliminate soda and diet sodas.
  • No Fruit Juice of Juicing unless its very low sugar vegetables. Carrots are high in sugar for example.
  • No rice, beans, legumes, lentils, potatoes, pumpkins, etc… These are too much starch.
  • No Dairy – unless its Raw, Unpasteurized & Organic. Goat is typically better.
  • Eliminate all Wheat, Soy & Corn Products.

Winter Protocol

  • Eat between 12pm & sunset. Dont eat after sunset.
  • Add Good Fats (Make certain products are Organic)
    • Avocados
    • Coconut
    • Ghee
    • Raw Cocoa
    • Cacao Butter
    • Nuts & Seeds
    • Wild Caught Fatty Fish (Salmon, Sardines, Anchovy are some of the best)
    • Olive Oil – only cold pressed true organic
    • Olives
      Hemp Seeds & Oil
    • Grass Fed Butter (Kerrygold is a good brand)
    • Eggs – Organic only
  • Eliminate hydrogenated vegetable oils (Canola, Vegetable Oil, Corn & Soybean oil etc…)
  • Eat as many green leafy vegetables as you can.
  • Eat Cruciferous Vegetables.
  • Stay away from all fruits.
  • Eat plenty of Fermented Vegetables.
  • Eat plenty of spices and herbs (garlic, turmeric, cinnamon, oregano, thyme, rosemary etc…)
  • Grass Fed & Grass Finished Beef Only if you choose to eat beef.
  • Fish, again make sure its Wild Caught.
  • Limit Poultry and Pork, even organic is pretty polluted.

This diet will help with not only weight loss but will help with many autoimmune diseases, GERD, SIBO, Colitis, overall inflammation and much much more.
