Who We Are
Welcome to 620 Chiropractic & Wellness Center’s website. We are delighted that you have found us and we hope that you will find our website helpful and informative as you explore non-surgical treatments for back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, sciatica, headaches, migraines, and more.
Our chiropractors have been providing holistic Chiropractic treatments to patients in the area for over 9 years, with a focus on natural pain relief and wellness care. We have treated thousands of patients with conditions ranging from whiplash to scoliosis to herniated disks to sciatica and have had remarkable success with conditions arising from car accident injuries, sports injuries, work injuries, repetitive stress injuries, slip and falls and more. In addition, we specialize in treating extremity conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, hip and knee conditions, plantar fasciitis, heel and foot pain, and elbow and wrist conditions.
At 620 Chiropractic & Wellness Center, we pride ourselves on our ability to get our patients feeling better quickly and back to doing what they love. We explain every treatment and make sure you understand the reasoning for each procedure. After you are pain-free, we work to strengthen the affected area, preventing a recurrence of your injury and helping to improve your overall health.
Patients at 620 Chiropractic are assured of receiving the finest care from our experienced chiropractors.
Chiropractic helps the body function the way it was designed. How many times in your life have you had to REMIND your body to breathe, pump blood, or digest food? These functions happen automatically. When the body is working well, it works VERY well!
Certain circumstances in life interfere with the normal functioning of our bodies. Since the brain and nervous system control body functions, Chiropractic focuses on maintaining the health of your nerves, organs, and connective tissue (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) so that the body can continue to operate normally. Emphasis is given to the body’s ability to heal itself.
Traumatic injuries, wear and tear over the years, poor diet, bad posture, environmental toxins or any other stress can all cause the nervous system to work poorly.
Patients visit 620 Chiropractic to get relief from back or neck pain, sciatica, menstrual problems, ear infections, asthma, colds, neurological problems and many other conditions. Patients also visit us because they want more energy, improved performance, better resistance to disease and to live drug-free lives.
While many patients visit us when they are in pain, everyone can benefit from preventative care. Just as it is easier and more beneficial to make sure a sapling grows straight to begin with than attempting to straighten a curved Oak tree, preventative health care is ALWAYS easier than recovering from an injury or health issue. Prevention leads to optimal health and allows our patients to enjoy the lifestyle they choose rather than having their health conditions make the choice for them!
On this website we have attempted to address many different aspects of your health from a holistic point of view. It is our hope that you will use this material to enjoy optimal health and well-being.
NEW PATIENTS / FIRST VISIT
What to expect during your first visit:
The first time we see you, we will make a thorough record of your health history. This helps us to pinpoint the actual problem instead of focusing on just the symptoms.
Next, the doctor will perform an examination of your spine, posture and body alignment. A number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent. The doctor may examine other areas depending on your specific complaints; for example, shoulder, knee or feet pain.
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule outmore serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.
Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, you will generally be provided with their first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, and/or physical therapy procedures to make you feel more comfortable.
Prior to leaving you will be given self-treatment advice which may include the application of ice or heat, any activities or positions to avoid, and home exercises and/or stretches to help relieve pain and speed healing.
You will be given an appointment time for your follow-up visit. Patients are usually seen within 1-2 days, at which time they are provided with a complete report of findings. During the report of findings, your chosen doctor will explain what is out of alignment, and what type of treatment will bring you back to health. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.
